Excellent vacation

Fantastically gorgeous beach and seaside place. Quite calm hotel. Good and helpful staff.

The cleaning of rooms is not good enough. Once, they just shovelled the dust and dirt under the bed instead of wet cleaning. The VOI Concierge cooperating with ERGA transfer is really non-punctual. They charge you for a service, but it won't be provided in time.

Beautiful property, but breakfast and dinner a nightmare

Property is amazing! If you like a peaceful place to relax far from the city. Beautiful private beach and great seaview from our room. 2 swimming pools. They take you on a golf cart to the beach and back for free, just need to wait at reception or in front of the beach. Breakfast and dinner included. Brazilian waitresses were great, very polite.

First and most important - they offer you soap to take your shower in small capsules, size of a froot loops cereal. Imagine your soap is the size of a nail and when wet dissolves, contained in a paper package. That is absolutelly non-sense. You take a showers and that thing does not last a second. So please buy a soap bar if you are going to stay in this hotel. The room had a strong smell of smoke. Everyday even openning the door to ventilate. We suspect someone was smoking in the toilet and the smell was coming through the exhaust fan. Breakfast and dinner you have to be very early as when open the doors, because they run out of food very quick, they take ages to put back and you are left with nothing sometimes. Quality is not great. From 3 dinners, only the last was good. First 2 were terrible. They don’t organise it in a queue for people to politely serve and move. It is just chaotic with people coming from all sides. Not a great experience to be honest. Some staff were very rude, one of the waiters who was replacing food next to the fish was pushing people, shouting and complaining. An absolute nightmare. That guy should be fired, not compatible with a hotel staff. Bed was too soft and not comfortable. They ask for €20 deposit for the safe key. They should provide that for free. We were 3 in the room and the safe was so small, barely fit 1 wallet.

Great location but expensive considering the conditions of the hotel.

Location is great!

Hard to navigate around with suitcases. The entrances felt a little unclean to apartment. The apartments need renovations. The swimming pool has too much chlorine. You have to pay deposits for towels and pay everytime you need to change them which is inconvenient as you have to go to the main reception to do so. Food and drink is fairly expensive. Buffet food is ok, a bit limiting!

Location on beach was beautiful. View from balcony is stunning Terraced restaurant had beautiful views of Tavalora. Staff were helpful and friendly Kiki Beach Restaurant is a short walk on beach for lunch.. (independent from hotel) highly recommend

Taxi service at hotel is non existent. We were told they needed 2 days notice to get taxi, just into the next town ie. Golf aranci. No pharmacy , even small counter one on site for such a large village resort. Besides catering for kids entertainment in evening, there was nothing for adults. Front Beach Hotel bar needed a bit music to attract people in. Too quiet.

Very Good

After our room upgrade to the beach hotel it was lovely. The theatre performance was really nice and the entertainment staff was amazing and gave us information about the activities and tours. The beach was crystal clear, better than the photos. We had access to the beach umbrella, which is a perk.. The restaurant was beautiful and had a stunning view.

Initially, we booked a family room in the villa, which was very basic, I found a pile of hair in the shower and poor facilities. The restaurant from the villa served cold eggs for breakfast and poor hygiene. After we upgraded the room, it was a big difference. However, the service at the beach hotel restaurant was very slow. The menu was a la cart, and we had to wait sometimes even 50 mins between plates. The staff seemed very stressed, and some of them were rude. The food was delicious, though.

The staff is exceptionally pleasant and helpful, especially those in the restaurants and beach.

The extremely loud noise from nightly attractions, which continued until 11 PM or later, made it impossible to sleep until they ended. Additionally, there were very long lines for breakfast and dinner.

The location is amazing. Beach water is crystal clear. I suggest you wake up early and see the sun rise from the beach as it is very pretty. There is a coffee station for freshly made coffee during breakfast which was great.

The entertainment is in Italian and not for English speakers. Options at dinner are limited but overall OK. You are allocated the same table for all of your stay. In general I would say the stay is on the pricey side given what you get. We only stayed for 2 nights

Anastasia the receptionist was very helpful as well as the staff at the bar. The property is vast and you will Do some walking the beach was very good a bit cold but worth it . Go for a swim. Fish are fun to see

The buffet was mediocre try not to eat too much there. You need a car to get around . Taxis are VERY expensive.

What was the highlight of VOI Colonna Village

We spent 4 days at the hotel at the beginning of June and we enjoyed our stay very much.

We spent 4 days at the hotel with our family at the beginning of June, i.e. before the beginning of the high season. The hotel area is very beautiful, the rooms are in small houses in the middle of a beautiful garden. A minibus runs around the campus, which you can use to take you to more distant places. We had paid for a deluxe room at the Beach Collona hotel with a sea view which was apparently newly renovated. Cleaning and changing of towels even took place twice a day. The pool was very clean and the staff checked the water quality every hour. STAFF: The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, both in the restaurant, at the reception, and the cleaning service. Everyone was just great. MEALS: We paid full board at the Bellevue restaurant. We had our table reserved for lunch and dinner the entire time. The breakfasts were rich, buffet style. The service is very nice and accommodating. They responded with a smile to the disgruntled and angry children. THE SEA: There were plenty of hotel umbrellas. The beach was divided into a hotel part and a public part. Access to the sea was impossible in part due to rocks, but in the other part there was sand.

LUNCHES AND DINNERS: Lunch and dinner were in the form of a 4-course menu (each course had a choice of 3 dishes). Dinners didn't start until 7:30pm, which might be a bit late for non-Italian families with children. The first two days we didn't like the food very much (it was poorly seasoned), but then it got better (until we had the feeling that the chef had changed, which was not true). There were no salads to choose from either for lunch or dinner. It would at least make a salad bar and at least for lunch. However, the staff was very nice and always made me a big bowl of salad at my request. I would choose this system of served menu maybe only for dinner and for lunch it would be faster and easier for everyone a buffet table. Of course, with the number of orders, sometimes the staff made a mistake or changed something. And I note that it was the beginning of June and the restaurant was only occupied from 1/4-1/3. I can't imagine what it looks like there in the summer... THE SEA: The first two days of our stay there were piles of old smelly seaweed on the beach. After three days, the seaweed in the hotel part of the beach was removed. I would be careful about this: it really spoils the experience of the sea. TRANSPORT: It's either across the island or just around Olbia (unfortunately we couldn't compare that), but they have an agreed price that a taxi to the center of Olbia or to the airport costs 50 euros... which we thought was about 10-15 minutes enough. We recommend booking a transfer to the airport through the local concierge, which cost us 40 euros for three people.

Very nice beach, sunbeds and umbrellas included. Tasty food, one night we have a very delicious Italian dinner with a very good quality of the food. Prosutto with melon, scampi,caprese, different pasta and a really home made deserts, esp tiramisu. 1 dinner from 2 we had here.

Very old and overpriced property, bad maintained. It’s seems it had it’s best time 15 years ago. We booked a room - premium sea view, and expected more than that it for 190 euro night at the end of season. Dirty walls, broken bad, very loud all day and night running water somethere in the walls. No any glasses, water inside. After I asked to bring a glass they said it’s prohibited to drink inside the room, just go to the bar. Stupid. Sea and sun, and a kind lady -conditer are the only things to go there.

Overall was nice , the location it’s wonderful , the food was nice and staff very helpful and available when you need so

The location it’s beautiful , close to the sea side , sun beds available and umbrella , staff very welcome and available to help you . Breakfast was fine but could do with some more options , lunch and dinner -very good , good very nice and tasty and plenty to choose from .

First of all , the hotel or resort says it’s a 4* , but the room that we had , I wouldn’t give it more than 2* -classic room , the bed -apparently a double , apparently because was more like 2 single , the mattress-awful, even my grandpa had a better mattress , the aircon wasn’t working properly , and were 35 degrees.

VOI = true Italian hospitality...not in all quarters

Amazing food - great choice of delicious dishes every single meal and really lovely staff waiting at tables. In fact, the food made this hotel amazing. The beach, and the pool were great - The pools were never busy. The sea water was warm and to our delight a great snorkeling experience. The entertainment every night was great fun. The Kids Club staff were just out of this world and deserved a medal for their professionalism and love for the children they catered for. They created an amazing family vibe at the hotel.

The staff at reception really let the hotel and our experience down, the lack of attention to detail and politeness was very disappointing, and definitely not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Reception staff's command of English was very poor which meant in our case half of the information we needed to know about using facilities etc was not provided and we had to find out things as we went along. Our welcome pack with timings and other information was also all in Italian. Reception staff created a sense of disparity between guests - You never felt that you mattered as while they were serving you they always decided to serve someone else at the same time. Italian guests were always prioritised, fast tracked and more often than not attended to first and ahead of other non Italian guests. Very disappointing was also to have paid more and booked a quadruple room, which on the website I was made to believe would be bigger but when we arrived we were given a double room with an extra single bed.

Very Good

Resort is very nice, clean, close to the nice beach which is sometimes overcrowded. Good effort by the team who organises shows! I would say it's a nice place for families with small children. Far away from everything so don't come without car.

Food is average, bad choice of meat, cold bread from fridge?!, wine they serve at the dinner is undrinkable. Better not to offer that.
